The Ford Iosis Max Concept
This, ladies and gentlement, is the new Ford Iosis Max Concept, said to be a preview of future design cues for certain Blue Oval models. The front should reflect the designs for the next Focus line, while the back end underlies design architecture for the next C-Max.
The design looks superb, and the doorwork is unique. The front fascia is characteristically Focus-y.
More on the Iosis Max Concept in the next post.

2010 Lincoln MKT
Crossovers help satisfy owners’ power and size requirements while allowing sedan-comparable fuel economy. The 2010 Lincoln MKT we wrote about in the previous post gives excellent fuel economy thanks to an optional EcoBoost powertrain, which is in turn supported by technology from Bosch.
This particular variant boasts of a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine. These EcoBoost engines are powered by a gasoline direct-injection technology called DI-Motronic supplied by Bosch. DI-Motronic is essentially a very prices direct-injection mechanism that allows unparallelled injection timing and control. This helps increase fuel economy while also augmenting power.
“The EcoBoost engine family is an innovative way to improve fuel economy without sacrificing performance. Bosch is proud to be providing its GDI technology and systems expertise to Ford,” said Bosch Gasoline Systems North America regional president Sujit Jain. He reaffirmed that improving upcoming vehicles is “at the core of what we do.”
