At the Geneva Motor Show, Czech automaker Škoda will be unveiling its newest compact SUV, the 2009 Škoda Yeti, named after the mythic snow mountain creature. It is based on a concept designed back in 2005 and intended for both urban and off-road driving —an ideal medium,” as Škoda puts it.
Škoda is a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, and while it may not be quite popular worldwide, it has a following in Europe . Updates to the existing models, such as the new Fabia Scout supermini and a GreenLine edition for the Octavia family car will be on display alongside the Yeti.
Škoda will also be introducing a new line of emotionally-expressive vehicles dubbed the EMO line (insert chuckles here) at the Geneva Show.
